Start: 07.08.2022, 12:00
Location. Botanical Garden

The Friends of the Botanical Garden invites you to an exhibition "New Perspectives in Nature" by the Maschen-Gilde Osnabrück. There are textile, mainly crocheted figures, objects, insects, fantasy creatures, tree faces and statements, which can be seen in the Botanical Garden and want to be discovered. A versatile accompanying program rounds off the exhibition.

The "Maschen-Gilde", a community of six women from different professions and walks of life, has dedicated itself to mesh art. In their new cultural project "New Perspectives in Nature", sponsored by the Cultural Office of the City of Osnabrück, they open up new perspectives and ways of looking at and into nature with their artistic objects.

The imaginative works on the trees tell stories, stimulate the imagination and sharpen the senses. With their works of art full of colorful joy, they give a voice to the trees, plants and also garden spirits, link past with present, connect old, traditional knowledge with current knowledge. Let yourself be enchanted!

The exhibition will be opened with a vernissage on Sunday, 07.08.2022 at 12 noon in the atrium of the Botanical Garden.
You can find the program accompanying the exhibition at:

Participation is free of charge. A donation would be appreciated.
